EightOS Training: Floor Work and Wrestling
In this EightOs session we will focus on floorwork and wrestling. We will learn how to use the incoming impulse to one's own advantage and how to get out of difficult situations based on modular isolation of tension and relaxation. We will also do some exercises to practice rapid stress recovery in difficult situations using sticks and breathing techniques.JTNDaDIlM0VHZXQlMjBhJTIwc3BvdCUzQSUzQyUyRmgyJTNFJTBBJTNDdGl0by13aWRnZXQlMjBldmVudCUzRCUyMjhvcyUyRnJlc2VhcmNoLWxhYiUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRnRpdG8td2lkZ2V0JTNF

EightOS Training: Tension / Release
In this session we will explore the mechanisms of tension and release as generational tools to create chaotic dynamics in the body, in the mind and in the group. We will work with some grappling / wrestling techniques, pushes, holds, and releases as well as some breathing and dissipation exercises. The session will take place in Treptower Park, just outside of the S-bahn Treptower Park, when you come out on the side of the park itself and walk about 1…

∞OS Activation Program: Polysingularity, Adaptivity and Resilience
In this EightOS activation session we will explore the notion of polysingularity in the urban and natural settings. Polysingularity is the ability to maintain both the local and global perspective, adaptively shifting the point of view, mood, tension, release, attitude and physicality, while also maintaining consistency and intention over a period of time. Combining interactive physical exercises, theoretical discussions and field work, we will explore: • Resilience and endurance strategies (using the dissipative movement, rhythm and breathing)\ • Assimilation and…

EightOS Program: Dissolving Resistance
In this EightOS activation program we will focus on the notion of resistance. We will study this concept using the body and interactive physical exercises. Together, we will pose and explore these questions: What is resistance? How can we understand it physically? What is the best strategy to resist and to resist resistance? How can we dissolve resistance? How can we scale our understanding of resistance onto social groups and into politics? In order to make sure that we don't…

EightOS Fluidity at Bundeskunsthalle
In the frame of the State of the Arts Exhibition we will be presenting EightOS bodymind operating system as a methodology and a practice for activating the fluid modality in a public space. We will be exploring the concept of fluidity in a public space affected by Coronavirus restrictions. Together we will see how we can use the limitations to amplify the sensation of liquid flow both in the physical and social bodies, how we can explore the space from a completely…

In this on-demand online webinar we will focus on the concept of immunity. How can we practice immunity both on the cognitive and physical levels? What is the concept of co-immunity? How can we understand it not only intellectually but also in an embodied way? The online webinars will happen throughout the Summer 2020 and will take the shape of 8 online events — each about 2-3 hours long. They will feature both theoretical knowledge (network science and nonequilibrium dynamics)…
