This 2-day program (4 hours every day with a break) is open both to the beginners and the advanced practitioners of ∞OS. We will get into dynamical systems theory and explore how it can inspire us for the new behavioral patterns, both on the physical and on the cognitive levels. We will explore nonequilibrium stability and a dance of escalation/deescalation/conflict as a creative dynamic force that can be used to modulate interactive flows. A mix of movement practice and science, this activation program will be stimulating on every level.
∞OS Activation Program: The Dynamics of Nonequilibrium Stability
March 23 @ 5:30 pm - March 24 @ 6:00 pm€60
Day 1 (Saturday): 17.30 to 22.30 (4.5 hours + 30 mins break)
We will start the first day of the program (2 hours) from exploring the basic principles and procedures of ∞OS practice using our body as the main vessel to understand the logic of confluence. We will also gain some practical skills in escalation / deescalation tactics, endurance, tension dissipation techniques, follower/leader dynamics.
In the second half of the day (2 hours), we will then talk about various behavioral patterns exhibited by robust and sustainable dynamical systems and networks, trying to experiment with and implement the notion of nonequilibrium stability on the level of intersubjective interaction. We will explore the implications of this approach and see how we can integrate some of these patterns into our everyday practice and different contexts.
Day 2 (Sunday): 15.00 to 20.00 (with a 30-min break)
We will use the second day of the program to go through the physical patterns and movements that we’ve learned in the previous day, making sure that they are implemented on the level that enables their use in everyday practice, creating advanced experimental situations to activate those patterns on the level of reflexes.
We will then open the space for individual work with participants to help them see how the principles and procedures from ∞OS can be integrated into their own work.
