∞OS Meets Conversational Practice at PRAGMA Festival

June 29, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 7:00 pm

€10

This very special ∞OS workshop session will take place in the context of PRAGMA Festival for Exchange between Practices.

The first part, from 10.30 to 14.30, will focus on exploring the main principles of ∞OS based on fluidity, adaptivity and assimilation. We will make a particular emphasis on how those principles can be abstracted and used in any other context, not only in physical interaction.

After a break (from 16.00 to 18.00) we will move on to explore how ∞OS principles can be used in the context of the conversational practice led by Diego Agullo and Dmitry Paranyushkin of Circadian press.

The main idea here is to explore how we can extract the new principles of behavior from physical practice and apply them in a conversation (and vice versa), creating a space for exchange between different practices.

For example, how we can integrate the principles of fluidity and adaptivity to any conversation. How we can apply  infiltration and destabilization procedures from ∞OS to any discourse.

On the other hand, in the second part of this workshop we will also learn what implications the movement practice will have when it is mixed with the conversational practice. How we can practice martial art in a conversation. How we can modulate conflict dynamics, using it as a source of energy rather than as a destructive force.

The final stage is a 3-hour session  (18.00-21.00), where we mix everything together (adding the music and space into the mix). We will then attempt to activate all those practices that we’ve experienced in the context of a party the next day, on the 30th of June, during the Local Prophets event.
