SomaSync: Fractal Variability Stimulator
SomaSync is a bodymind metronome that entrains fractal rhythms in your body, heart, and mind. It uses haptic / sonic / visual feedback to provide the user with fractal variability biofeedback, which can then be synced with one’s breathing, movement, walking, or attention.
As a result, the user of the app will experience different states that go through several frequencies—slow, moderate, and fast—making them more attentive to the smallest impulses as well as the big perturbation.

It can analyze and store historical readings from Apple Watch’s ECG and Mindfulness apps and provide live HRV fractality tracking via Polar H10.
We developed this app to give people an opportunity to experience the aesthetics and principles of the EightOS practice with direct haptic feedback and an underlying fractal generation algorithm. This system can be used to choreograph mood and movement. One can get into EightOS practice without an instructor and feel it in one’s own body.
Research shows that syncing the breathing or walking with a fractal metronome can have a beneficial effect on health through increased variability. HRV (heart rate variability) will become more fractal (indicative of an optimal balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems).
