temporarily change form
bring the structure back
to the original shape.
This is a basic procedure from 8OS: assimilating to an incoming disturbance in a way that is resilient. Allowing your structure/shape to be changed temporarily, bringing it back to the original shape. It can be used in the context of self-defense, but also in any other situation in life where you're dealing with change that you don't want to take as an inspiration to move to a new position of stability.
This practice can be done anywhere in the nature, especially where there are a lot of trees. The idea is that you develop adaptability, calmness and sensitivity in your body in changing circumstances. Close your eyes and start slowly walking backwards. As soon as you encounter an obstacle (a branch, a stone or a tree) simply accommodate it into your structure, do not fight against it, flow around it, like water, adopting to it, letting it pass through. Just 5 minutes of this exercise will increase your sensitivity and calm you down. Highly recommended!
