Building Organizational Bodymind Operating Systems

March 12, 2018 @ 9:00 am - March 17, 2018 @ 6:00 pm

Self-organization and conflict as a generative force

Building Organizational Bodymind Operating Systems

/In this course we will introduce the notion of operating system in the context of organizational management and personal development. //You will learn the basic principles of self organization and how to apply structures that will help you move beyond binary/linear logic without falling into chaos.

///We will demonstrate how this analogy borrowed from the world of software development (along with the principles of agile development) can be very useful to build frameworks, systems, organizational principles (software),  which can then be applied to an organization or individual behavior (hardware).

/////You will see multiple case studies of different operating systems based on experience based learning.

//////We will demonstrate the best practices from the already existing operating systems, such as holocracy, panarchy, art of hosting, theory of u and ∞OS, so you can use them as prototypes for you to build your own organizational / behavioral software.

////////We will make a particular focus on experiential understanding and habitual learning of the ideas that we propose through physical practice and embodiment of theoretical concepts. This will allow you to bridge the gap between the intellectual understanding and real implementation. We will also make extensive use of network theory, principles of agile development, and dynamical systems theory as the primary tools in our collective exploratory journey.

/////////You will learn how to create an operating system, which is coherently designed towards fulfilling certain organizational and personal goals, as well as the different strategies you can use to implement this operating system and achieve the desired results.
